For more than 25 years, Daniel Stewart has trained equestrians all over the world, helping riders to achieve their goals in the saddle. He coached US equestrian team riders for competitions like the Summer Olympic Games, the World Championships, and the World Equestrian Games from 2000 to 2006.

Now based in Naples, Florida, the author of Ride Right with Daniel Stewart and Pressure Proof Your Riding: Mental Training Techniques travels worldwide to lead expert clinics and Rider Fitness workshops and to speak at national equestrian gatherings. He also serves as the Sport Psychology expert for the Horse Radio Network and the Mental Training coach for the United States Eventing Association website.

Much of Daniel Stewart’s training emphasis focuses on ways riders can overcome anxiety, fear, nerves, and other psychological obstacles in equestrian competition.

The 2014 Midwest Horse Fair, themed “Horse Tales,” takes place April 11 to 13 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
