Daniel Seddiqui, the man who completed 50 jobs in 50 states released his coffee table book this week, called Crossing Borders in Search of Jobs. The book is filled with incredible photos from around the country and stories of his interactions with the people in each state.
Daniel Seddiqui, 27, graduated from USC and went on 40 interviews and received 40 rejections. So he decided he would try another route. He came up with the idea that he would attempt to work 50 different jobs in 50 states.
Seddiqui started his first job in Salt Lake City, Utah at the LDS Mormon Church in the Humanitarian Services Department. In Pennsylvania, he worked at an Amish building furniture company. In Wisconsin…he worked as a cheese maker.
Over the time it took him to complete 50 jobs in 50 states, Seddiqui has seen a great deal of this country and its people, and looks like he’s had the time of his life. On his Living the Map website, viewers were able to vote for the type of job he should try in each state and where.
Seddiqui has the website, photos and memories of this incredible journey that he can keep. And now the book that tells his incredible story can be purchased for others to share. The beautiful coffee table book has limited copies and is available for $45 and $5 shipping. It can be ordered here: daniel@livingthemap.com
