Daniel Radcliffe: I want Cristiano Ronaldo's six-pack abs

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe wants to look as good shirtless as footballer Cristiano Ronaldo for his next Broadway role.

LIVE FULL-FRONTAL NUDE SCENE

In 2008, Radcliffe made his Broadway debut in the disturbing play Equus, where he appeared in full-frontal nude scenes on stage.

Daniel, 20, has some shirtless scenes in the upcoming musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and wants to be as rippled and muscular as Real Madrid superstar Cristiano, 25.

"Daniel wants to completely re-sculpt his body and has taken Ronaldo as his inspiration,” a source told Britain's The Sun.

"Daniel is taking his fitness regime really seriously," adds the insider. "He envies [Cristiano's] muscle definition and is hoping to get a similar six-pack for himself."

To this end, Radcliffe has reportedly stopped drinking, cut back on smoking and is watching every bite he eats.

CRIS DOES 3,000 CRUNCHES A DAY

Of course, it'll take a lot of effort to get a physique that even remotely resembles that of the Portuguese international winger, who reportedly does 3,000 crunches a day to get his ripped 6-pack abs.

At 6'1" and 182 pounds, Ronaldo is lean and mean. In addition to daily workouts with his Madrid teammates on the soccer field, Cristiano also lifts weights and does sprint work to improve his speed and foot work.

His incredible body has helped Ronaldo land a lucrative and high-profile gig as the face and body of Armani men's jeans and underwear, and got him on the sizzling June cover of Vanity Fair.

Meanwhile, Daniel, who himself looked lean and fit during his Equus nude scenes, has reportedly lost some of the extra weight he recently put on. "He's already lost nearly a stone [or 14 pounds] in the past month," says his pal.

Radcliffe is currently shooting the eighth and final sequel in the Harry Potter saga. How to Success In Business will open on Broadway in spring 2011.
