Daniel Radcliffe explains bold move from ‘Harry Potter' to ‘The Woman in Black'

Daniel Radcliffe appeared on Good Morning America today to talk about his new horror film titled The Woman In Black and his bold decision to move away from his Harry Potter persona. The enlightening and engaging interview proved that the Harry Potter series may be over, but Radcliffe’s career is just beginning.

Good Morning America host, Robin Roberts, conducted today’s interview and asked Radcliffe about his brave decision to make a horror film. “It was a very easy choice,” he answered. The former Harry Potter star explained that he only stars in films that he would like to see. The Woman In Black piqued Radcliffe’s interest because, “It is an interesting and frightening film.”

In The Woman In Black, Daniel Radcliffe portrays a widowed lawyer whose grief has put his career in jeopardy, so he is sent to a remote village to sort out his personal life. Upon his arrival, it soon becomes clear that everyone in town is keeping a deadly secret. Although the townspeople try to keep his character from learning their tragic history, he soon discovers that the ghost of a woman is haunting the house. No one, not even the children, are safe from her vengeance. It’s a horror story with little gore and a lot of suspense, along the lines of The Shining.
