During the March 20, 2014 broadcast of Glenn Beck's nightly television program, Stu Burguiere interviewed Rabbi Daniel Lapin.
Supposedly, Lapin had been there to discuss reports that a gay couple was going to sue the Church of England for the right to get married in the church.
As many of you have no doubt already guessed, Lapin insisted that this instance as well as various unnamed cases that have occurred in the United States, are not about equal rights and are instead part of an all-out effort to destroy Judeo-Christian values and the Bible.
"This is a flagrant attempt to censor, undermine, and ultimately obliterate Christianity," said Lapin. "That's the purpose of this."
Yup. It's this crap again. It's the American Taliban's absolute favorite talking point: Insisting that, by not letting Christians treat any and all non-Christians as second-class citizens, Christians are being unfairly discriminated against.
Lapin even took the A.T. talking points to their logical conclusion by insisting, in plain English, that the words "equality" and "fairness" are meaningless terms that are embraced by tyrannical governments in order to work up a docile population into destroying its own freedom.
Or, in a nutshell, freedom destroys freedom. Those are quite literally his talking points.
The American Taliban's war against reality remains as futile as ever.
