Now that Danica Patrick has officially announced that she is entering the NASCAR world, more endorsement opportunities are lining up for her.
Already a prominent spokesperson for Go Daddy, Boost Mobile, and Peak, Danica is now focusing on a product that will be targeted to her female fans: her very own perfume.
The fragrance, called Danica Patrick for Her, will be ready in February 2010, just in time for racing season.
SA Fragrances will produce the perfume. The company has previous experience with promoting perfumes for female athletes, having found success with Annika by Annika Sorenstam. Jon Klein, VP Sales said in a press release:
“We are honored to be partnering with Danica Patrick. Her success in the racing world combined with her striking beauty has made her both a role model and mainstream, global icon. Danica deserves a beautiful fragrance that is as special as she is and that is what SA Fragrances has created. The launch and continued promotion of Danica Patrick for Her will include a huge sampling initiative, a major online campaign and event marketing at racing and other venues. Danica's fragrance will immediately be recognized as the hot new fragrance of 2010."
With Danica moving to a new series with a larger potential fanbase at NASCAR weekends, her marketability will only increase, especially given how many NASCAR fans are women.
