Danica Patrick is out of the Nationwide Series that so many fans are staying home to watch on television. On Feb. 23, TV Guide reported that she has bowed out of the big race due to ignition failure.
She started out going great and then her car lost power which caused problems. It made her pull into the garage and not pit lane because of it just stopping. Danica wished she had been given a chance to fix it, but the car was done for and it was too late for this option.
Danica Patrick will be the one to watch on Sunday in the Daytona 500. She says that she will be racing in it and this could be a really good race to see.
Reports are coming out that she could change racing forever. She is the first female to show off and do such a good job in this sport. She is racing from the pole position tomorrow. She is the first woman to ever do that.
