Danica Patrick hit by rock, suffers sore neck and head in incident

Danica Patrick, hit by a rock on Mar. 7, 2013, is experiencing neck and head soreness, but she is lucky to be alive after the strange incident. According to ESPN.com, she was racing on a dirt track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway when she was struck by the flying debris.

Unfortunately, Danica Patrick, hit by a rock on Thursday, was also in a head-on collision on Sunday. So it hasn't been a great week for the sexiest female race car driver in history. She was examined at the infield care center at the track, where she assured paramedics that she was fine despite the soreness in her neck.

Joking with the media days after being hit by a rock, Danica Patrick said the collision didn't leave her with a concussion, but the errant stone may have. All kidding aside, it's a relief that Patrick is doing okay after her eventful week on the track.
