Danica Patrick hit by rock: Racer says she is fine, felt like a concussion

Fans may have been worried by the news Thursday that Danica Patrick was hit by a rock as she was at a dirt track, but she says she's fine. The Washington Post shared the details on Friday, March 8 and the racer says that all is well.

Luckily Patrick was wearing a hat, as she says that she was hit “straight in the head.” After Danica Patrick was hit by a rock by the course she said she felt like she may have even had a concussion, but she was checked out and found to be okay. This comes after a big crash last weekend, so this has not been an easy week for the famous driver.

MSN notes that Patrick was at The Dirt Track in Las Vegas for the World of Outlaws show. She was still feeling sore from the incident at last weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup race, when she slammed into the wall thanks to a blown tire. Danica Patrick was hit by the rock and it was enough of a blow to knock her to the ground, apparently. Here's hoping that this time around bad things don't come in threes.
