If you like a lot of ethnic color and costumes along with dancing and even stick dancing, this celebration is for you. The dance form dandiya raas is performed during the holiday Navratri. It is the most popular dance from the state of Gujarat in India.
The Rocky Mountain Gujarati Samaj of the Denver Area will be hosting a Dandiyaa Festival Celebration on September 30th, October 1st, 7th and 8th. On Friday, September 30th, it will be held from 8pm to 1am at Hinkley High School in Aurora, CO.
