Week 7 of season 17 of “Dancing with the Stars” saw a tearful goodbye from Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi. So emotional was she that she couldn’t even speak in the final moments of the episode that aired Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
As the contestants were getting ready to perform their team dances for the evening, Host Tome Bergeron teased that a member of team Spooky Bom Bom, to which Snooki belonged, currently had the lowest overall score and unless they did well enough in the team competition, they would be going home that evening.
Her team came in second place and Team Foxing Awesome was told they were all safe. One by one the members of Team Spooky Bom Bom learned they were safe until only Snooki and Bill Envall were left.
When the announcement came, Snooki looked devastated. She had done well last week and turned in another stunning performance this week. Co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet had to call Snooki over to the judges stand several times because she was so upset. Snooki kept hugging everyone and seemed unable to move.
Brooke tried to ask what Snooki had learned about herself throughout the competition and all Snooki could say was “I can’t even talk right now.” Bergeron directed her to look at the faces of her fellow cast mates as the cameras panned across the stage. Somber faces were worn by all and a few were even crying themselves.
The remaining contestants who progress to week 8 are Amber Riley, Brent Daugherty, Elizabeth Berkley, Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne, Leah Remini, and Bill Envall. Cher will perform and guest judge for week 8 so don’t miss it!
