Despite dancing through injury, Dancing with the Stars' contestant and former Majority House Leader Tom DeLay, stormed the house with a Republican v. Democratic dance piece with partner Cheryl Burke.
The dancing couple sported red, white and blue outfits with Burke wearing a donkey on her dress and DeLay wearing an elephant on the back of his shirt.
"Your steps were clean and you had a good frame," partner Cheryl Burke said of his last week's performance, where DeLay ended the dance on a bad foot fall resulting in a stress fracture.
The Laredo, Texas native said of his performance last night, he just followed his partner to get to the end.
"It's okay, no problem," Tom DeLay said in his post-performance interview brushing off the pain.
The crowd boo'd the final scores as the dancing duo came in second to last place.
"Whatever the judges give me, I'll take," said DeLay. "And we'll just move on."
DeLay is nursing his injuries with ice in between rehearsals, and even during practices with Burke, to stay on his feet.
