“Dancing With the Stars” has a huge night coming up. The “switch up” has been done and the couples will be announced on the live show this evening. Rumors have been swirling about who will be paired with who, but nothing officially has been said by the network or the show. According to an April 7 report from the Huffington Post, there have been tensions on the set. From the new “switch up” partners to the diva antics from Erin Andrews, Season 18 has had a lot of drama in just four weeks.
On promos for “Dancing With the Stars” Maksim Chmerkovskiy begged fans not to switch him and partner Meryl Davis. Unfortunately for Chmerkovskiy, fans did switch the partners and Meryl ended up with his brother Valentin. Maksim ended up with Danica McKellar. This caused a lot of angst because Chmerkovskiy called McKellar sexy and she did not respond well to the comment. Also there have been rumors of Erin Andrews being a diva. In the report, Andrews talks about calling the producers and seeing what she could do better after hearing reports she may be axed. It looks like that is all worked out now and ABC is happy to have Andrews on the show.
The “switch up” announcement will be made tonight and the new couples will have to perform their first dance together. “Dancing With the Stars” airs Monday nights at 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
