It was a major shock when Joanna Krupa was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" season nine on the week nine episode, November 17, 2009. For weeks she had been near the top, and the judges had said amazing things about her the previous night, but she just couldn't hold on. She looked extremely disappointed leaving, but I can't say I blame her for being surprised.
The night before the results show the final four celebrities were put to the test, being asked to perform three dances in one night. Mya and Dmitry held on to their top spot, but the rest of the pack wasn't far behind them. The judges also continued to fall in love with Kelly, who they think has grown so much over the past nine weeks.
The highlight of the results show was, of course, the elimination, but the musical guests will not be forgotten. Leona Lewis and Alicia Keys performed new music, while Robin and Barry Gibb brought an old favorite.
