Dancing With the Stars” season 18 premieres in March, but it looks like there will be one less familiar face in the mix. According to RumorFix on Feb. 21, Brooke Burke-Charvet will no longer be one of the hosts.

Burke-Charvet has been a co-host with Tom Bergerson since shortly after she won season 7 with Derek Hough. “Dancing With the Stars” fans have, at times, had a lot of fun at her expense, but it seems unlikely anybody saw this change coming this season.

So far neither Brooke Burke-Charvet or the show have confirmed the exit, but this isn't the first change ahead for this season. “DWTS” also eliminated the Harold Wheeler Orchestra for this upcoming season. Though that group had been on the show for every prior season, the new season 18 will feature a smaller band led by Ray Chew.

There are some “Dancing With the Stars” casting rumors floating around, and the official “DWTS” cast reveal for season 18 will come on March 4. There's no word at this point whether a new co-host will be brought in, though it may well be that the show will shift to having Tom Bergerson host on his own. Stay tuned for further details as season 18 "Dancing With the Stars" cast and crew confirmations emerge.
