Dancing With the Stars” will begin Season 18 in just a few weeks. Fans have been looking forward to the return of the show but with all the changes, many are beginning to wonder whether or not they will watch. Just a few weeks ago it was announced that the network fired the band that had been with the show since day one in favor of a electric band. Brooke Burke-Charvet was fired from her co-host position and Erin Andrews was hired to replace her. The cast announcement has been made, but it wasn't impressing for the majority of fans. According to a March 5 report from E! Online, there is more change coming to “Dancing With the Stars” in the form of a “switch up.” It is being said that during the third week of competition, fans will have the chance to vote for dancing partners to change.

The dancers on “Dancing With the Stars” aren't too keen on the idea. While it will be good television interaction, it may be confusing and hard to adjust for the celebrities learning to dance. The rep for the show only mentioned it would be happening at some point in the season, but all signs point to it occurring in the third week of competition.

Season 18 is going to premiere with several changes. The new season is set to begin Monday, March 17 at 7 p.m. CST and will air on the ABC network. Fans are interested to see how the show will do with ratings following all the changes made.
