This is going to be a huge week for “Dancing With the Stars” because of the “switch up” being put in place. All week the stars have been practicing with their new partners in order to learn their dance for Monday night. According to an April 4 report from WetPaint, there are some spoilers floating around about which stars ended up with which pro dancers. It looks like NeNe Leakes is paired with Derek Hough, which is the worst possible scenario for Leakes. This could make for a very interesting live show.
Traditionally “Dancing With the Stars” pairs couples by height compatibility. NeNe Leakes is taller than Derek Hough, which could make dancing awkward for them both. Leakes made a comment about not wanting to be paired with Hough publicly and it looks like fans thought it would be funny to vote for them to be together. This may end up working in Hough's favor though, because Leakes has quite a fan base built from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Derek Hough has won the competition five times and this just may be another good year for him.
Fans are looking forward to seeing who else is paired and whether or not the rumors about the “switch up” are true. “Dancing With the Stars” airs Monday, April 7 at 7 p.m. CT on the ABC network.
