'Dancing with the Stars:' results and tribute to Patrick Swayze
On Wednesday night 'Dancing with the Stars' concluded their three night premiere with the results of the 'Dancing with the Stars' double elimination and a special tribute to the late Patrick Swayze. The 'Dancing with the Stars' results were of no real surprise to fans as Ashley Hamilton and Macy Grey were eliminated.
Also in the results opener of 'Dancing with the Stars' Kelly Osborn and partner Louis Van Amstel were asked to perform their Viennese waltz to which they scored a 23, from the judges, which also brought Kelly Osborn's mom and dad to tears the night before.
Before the results of the elimination, of the two stars, on this ninth season of 'Dancing with the Stars' six of the shows pro-dancers performed a tribute medley to the late, Patrick Swayze. Chelsie Hightower and Dmitry Chaplin danced to "She's Like the Wind", after which real-life husband and wife Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya waltzed to "Unchained Melody." Tony Dovolani and Cheryl Burke took on the task of performing "Time of My Life" in the finale, which ended with the infamous lift that Swayze and Jennifer Grey successfully executed at the end of the movie famous movie "Dirty Dancing."
After the results on 'Dancing with the Stars' Ashley Hamilton stated, "It's been a blast," "I've had a great partner and such a great experience." With Macy Grey commenting on her 'Dancing with the Stars' experience stating, "I learned a little bit about dancing. Ballroom isn't my calling, exactly, but I learned a little bit and we had a good time."

I'm sorry but I HAVE to say something about this. Did you see the part of the "Time of My Life" dance where they did the famous "lift"? Did anyone else see how the camera cut away right before it and the angle got all weird? When I rewound it, it's obvious that the guy barely lifts Cheryl up in front of him let alone over his head. WHAT was the deal? Is this lift too hard for DWTS pros to do???
