We may have our first "Dancing With the Stars" casting announcement. According to Radar Online, former Baywatch star / cover model Pamela Anderson is ready to put on our dancing shoes and go for the top scores on ABC's hit reality program. A source told the website that "Pam is thrilled and so is the show."

While Pam certainly has her share of critics, she also will be one of the more recognizable contestants the show has had in recent years. "Dancing" is looking for some headlines performers for this season, particularly since there's been no confirmation on if former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul has accepted the network's offer to appear. There have also been rumors that one of the Gosselin parents could appear on the show (though that is considered to be a longshot at this point).

"Dancing" also still needs to find a replacement for co-host Samantha Harris, who announced last week that she is leaving the show to better pursue a career as an entertainment journalist.

Do you think Pamela Anderson is a good fit for "Dancing With the Stars?" Let me know your thoughts with a comment below.
