'Dancing with the Stars:' Pamela Anderson called 'best performer' by Bruno Tonioli (video)

Pamela Anderson has already received plenty of high scores during her run on "Dancing with the Stars," and she is also earning the respect of the always-enthusiastic judge Bruno Tonioli.

In a new interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Bruno had this to say about Pamela on the dance floor:

"Pamela is probably the best performer in the show. The truth of the matter is that her performances are so focused. She's so on it, it's brilliant. She acts the part. … Dance just is not just a series of steps. Dance is a performing art.

"Technically, she's not bad either. She's quite good. Obviously, when we go toward the finals, she has to step up that side."

So far, the highest scorers of the competition are Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and ice skater Evan Lysacek, even though Evan's scores slipped a little Monday night. Pam also has to worry about getting consistent fan support, since she has been in the bottom two twice during the competition.
