With 11 Olympic medals, Olympian Natalie Coughlin is known for her swimming strokes. But in tonight's run of Dancing with the Stars, she rocked the Rumba with partner Alec Mazo taking second place among her competitors.
Treating the dancing much like her job as a swimmer, the star geared up pre-Rumba with her usual pre-competition meal - Fried eggs, rice and soy sauce.
"Yummy! Ready to go," the 27-year-old swimmer tweeted.
Coughlin and partner Mazo took the dance floor with a dramatic opening, while Natalie took over the rest with outrageous splits and flaunting flexibility.
Despite being charged with a double dress-up, wearing the same dress as previous Olympian Shawn Johnson, Coughlin is beginning to make a name for herself coming up in the rankings on the hit TV series.
To keep up with her strenuous dancing practices, rehearsals and routines, Coughlin is leaning on R&R to get her through to the next dance.
"Need to rest up and relax!" Coughlin tweeted earlier this week. But when the star isn't resting or Rumba'ing, she's cross-training like the athlete she is.
Coughlin posted last week on her Twitter page, "Just did a light Pilates workout to relax for tomorrow... Similar to one of my iTrain.com workouts if you guys are interested! :)"
Oh, really, Natalie? What's iTrain? If you want to train like the stars to be like one, click here to find out more about iTrain!
