You can run, but can you dance?

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and TV Personality, Michael Irvin has bene paired up with Russian-American dancer Anna Demidova.

While this year's Dancing with the Stars Season 9 has already picked up flack from the media on the selection of its criminal past, the pairings have created buzz for the show and bets on the winners.

One of the ones under the bus for past criminal history is former Cowboys star, Michael Irvin, but for "The Playmaker" this is all a part of the game.

A former NFL pro, Irvin is also a former broadcaster for ESPN's NFL Countdown. He is regarded as one of the most successful wide receivers in the history of the NFL.

Irvin was self-nicknamed "The Playmaker" due to his penchant for making big plays in big games during his college career and still carries the name with him into this years hit television series of Dancing with the Stars.

Irvin has already locked a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1997) and now he'll be setting his sights on the bigger prize with dance partner, Anna Demidova.
