Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano entertained the "Dancing With the Stars" television audience and Atlanta viewers of WSBTV Monday night, but they've been entertaining the rumor mill even longer about an alleged "royal romance" between the former American Idol contestant and the "DWTS" dancer, according to the Daily Mail.
Pia's decision to sing "I'll Stand By You" as Mark danced on stage with Karina Smirnoff just fueled the fire even more. And Mark's territorial hug afterward seemed to silence any doubters on the topic. But what would have really fueled the blaze -- and lit up the women vying for the top spot on Dancings finale -- would have been if Mark bestowed Pia with the jewels being prepared by MsBellezza for the winner of the 2011 Dancing With the Stars show.
The female winner of "DWTS" is going to be one happy woman, with jewels that will outsparkle any royal romance in the offing (pics of the piece coming soon) -- unless Mark manages to get an identical set for Pia. But I doubt that will be a possibility, as MsBellezza prides its commitment to one-of-a-kind and limited production pieces.
Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano may be an item -- and they may continue to play it out quietly behind the scenes or eventually admit it for the "DWTS" audience -- but if he ever bestows the jewels you see of MsBellezzas in the slideshow to the left, the cat will unceremonially be out of the bag then.
Giving a set of necklaces and earrings of Elizabeth Taylor quality to your girl makes it official: you're serious. And these are some serious gems that can grace any woman's neck -- and at an inexpensive price. Mark Ballas better hope Pia doesn't decide to go La Liz on him. If she does, he better call MsBellezza. But for now, the "Dancing With the Stars" dancer and his "American Idol" singing "friend" are remaining mum on any romance.
