‘Dancing With the Stars’: Maksim Chmerkovskiy vows not to return as dancer

Fans of Maksim Chmerkovskiy might have seen him take off his shirt on the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom for the last time. The over the top dancer won the latest season of the competition with Meryl Davis, but it doesn’t sound like he will be returning to the popular dancing competition any time soon. According to WetPaint on Tuesday, the entertainer is looking at life after dancing on the reality show.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy hasn't been coy about his big decision to return to “Dancing With the Stars” after several seasons away from Hollywood. He originally suggested it was for a single season and that he preferred the chance to do other projects. Yet, something lured him back and he was teamed up with an incredible athlete offering up the chance to be the best in front of millions of people. Winning the competition was just icing on the cake for the reality star.

Apparently now that the show is over, the professional dance is going back to his original statement that he isn't going to be returning to the show as a dancer after the season. According to TV Guide, Maksim doesn't see himself back on the television show as it is not exciting to him right now.

While it sounds like Maksim is taking the mirror ball trophy and leaving, the fans shouldn't worry about not seeing him again. A big supporter of “Dancing With the Stars” the dancer will be around for the next season, but he might be in the audience, dancing as part of the troupe or maybe taking a place behind the judges table.

The idea that Maksim Chmerkovskiy might not return to show as dancer is difficult for the viewers to understand. Yet, he has proved after all those years of competition that he has what it takes to win and everyone can imagine how great it feels to go out on top.
