‘Dancing With the Stars’ gains Super Bowl champ for season 16

Jacoby Jones is joining the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” according to a report released Feb. 25 by EOnline. The casting news for the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver was announced during the Oscar’s Sunday evening and confirmed by ABC.

Jones set a record during the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers for returning a kickoff for a touchdown, as well as, catching a touchdown pass. His football skills helped drive the Ravens to their Super Bowl victory earlier this month. Now Jones has the opportunity to show off his dancing skills for the world to see.

The Super Bowl champ appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” after the Ravens win. When asked about possibly appearing on the popular dancing show he responded, "Oh, yes sir, I'll get it done, baby."

There has been a lot of speculation as to who will be cast for the upcoming season. So far the announcement of Jones has been the only confirmed cast member. The remaining contestants will be revealed Feb. 26 on “Good Morning America.”

Dancing with the Stars” is set to premiere its new season March 18 on ABC.
