This week, "Dancing With the Stars" Season 17, made their first round of eliminations. Cut from the all star line-up is former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson and his professional dancing partner, Sharna Burgess.
Keyshawn, 41, took the news well and had a smile on his face when he said, "For a guy that's never even bobbed his head in the car, I think that the fact I have the experience of dance and learned what dancing is all about with Sharna teaching me is something amazing to me. I don't care, at this point, about whether we win or lose. It's just the fact that I had the opportunity to learn from her. I think she's an amazing choreographer, and her time will come! I wish I could've done more to help her out."
Even though they had the lowest scores, they didn’t do too badly though. The eliminations were decided by combining the judges and viewers scores from Monday’s performances. Out of 60 points, they were awarded 35 points. The judges for this year’s contest are Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
In first place is Amber Riley and Derek Hough. They have 51 points accumulated in the two weeks of competition. In second place is Crobin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff with a total of 50 points.
Valerie Harper and Tristan MacManus, is in ninth place with 40 points. Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein is in last place with 31 points.
