'Dancing with the Stars': Erin Andrews intervew defended by Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Magazine editors beware -- if you are going to ask Erin Andrews a series of uncomfortable questions during an interview, then you better be ready to incur the wrath of her former "Dancing with the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Vanity Fair recently conducted an interview about the broadcaster's return to ESPN, but they filled the interview with strange questions about a "fake" relationship with Maksim and what she does when constipated.

In a chat with Life & Style about the interview, Maks tore Vanity Fair a new one:

"I mean honestly shame on Vanity Fair. I'm a business owner, I have about 47 employees. Say you come to my [dance] studio and if instead of getting a dance lesson you just get made fun of...you're going to say this studio sucks not this instructor sucks. Just like me, I think Vanity Fair needs to clean their house a little bit. There's no place for that [expletive]."

Maksim then told E! Online that the interview questions detracted from what was its original purpose:

"The whole idea was Erin coming back to college sports after all that she's been through. She dedicated herself to cleaning up all the messes she was part of and to walk into this was definitely not necessary."

Do you think the questions asked of Erin were offensive? Feel free to share your thoughts with a comment below! To view photos from the "Dancing" finale, follow the link here.

You have a typo in your headline. Thought you may want to correct it.

This is old news; we've all written VF a boatload of complaint. That interview of this lovely lady was total NO CLASS. The idiot who created it needs to be fired and a written apology to Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy issued by the VF editors. Cheapest crap I've seen. The tabloids would have done better. DON"T EVER BUY VANITY FAIR, cancel your subscriptions. They are tawdry losers.

Your headline is a little confusing. How did you get this job?

I think Erin took tragedy as an opportunity to become a star and make big bux. She should thank the guy that video taped her because without him, there wwould be no Dancing with the stars and this 2million dollar law suit gainst the hotels

I love Erin Andrews, she is smokin hot and such a funny and kind person. Its sad that some people would say she needed to be peeped on. Bullsheeeeit. Erin is a household name to dudes around the world. Erin has always been a great reporter and knows her sports as much as any guy. In a way ESPN has kept her down because they wouldn't let Playboy go after her etc. BTW this guy is using her as a way to bring up his "business" and keep his name in the papers. I'm sure he's seen her naked and that is awesome and he might be in love with her (id be ) but i see through him!
