On Tuesday night's "Dancing With the Stars" elimination show, Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska were booted out over Kate Gosselin and Niecy Nash. Speaking with "Entertainment Tonight" following the show, Aiden admitted that he has been "sick" the past few weeks -- but he nonetheless "tried [his] best" to stay in the competition with high scores.
A number of other castmates were mourning the loss of the "All My Children" actor. Erin Andrews had this to say about the departure of Aiden & Edyta: "Aiden always made [partner] Maks smile and laugh." Maks then called the soap star "the sunlight in my gloomy days."
In addition, Olympian Evan Lysacek had this to say: "He was so much fun. We loved going out with Aiden and his wife."
Unfortunately for Aiden, it looks like the gang will have a lot more time to hang out now that he won't be practicing for the hit ABC show.

I was really disappointed when Aiden had to leave - he's a great looking guy with a great personality - I will never understand his leaving before Kate or Niecy - anyway, hope I'll get to see him again soon - maybe he'll return to All My Children - they really need him
