Erin Andrews took a major risk on Monday night's episode of "Dancing With the Stars," and the show also decided to completely avoid the recent subject of death threats being made against the ESPN broadcaster's life.
However, TMZ did catch up with Erin after the performance, who was walking along with fellow competitor Evan Lysacek. Although Andrews kept quiet when asked about the threats, the Olympic skater was quick to come to her defense. Not only did he say he would protect her, but he joked that he would come after any potential attacker with his ice-skating blades.
Obviously, this is Evan's attempt to calm the press down from what is obviously a tense situation. Security was increased prior to Monday night's show, and a number of cars were even searched beforehand.
As for Erin's performance, she received praise even if she still had some trouble with her "grip" on Maksim Chmerkovskiy during the dance.
Do you respect Evan Lysacek for defending Erin Andrews from the paparazzi? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and check out photos below from Monday night's episode of "Dancing With the Stars."
