The "Dancing With the Stars" results show is back! Do you know what that means? If you were expecting tons of filler, "stars of dance" performances, and goofy fun-liners from the judges, then you certainly weren't disappointed. The ballroom brought plenty of surprises this week
Why in the world are Pam Anderson and Damian Whitewood in the bottom two? What are these people thinking? Pam is not only pure entertainment, but she is one of the best dancers on the show. On the other hand, Buzz Aldrin is safe -- I wish I could say I am surprised, but he will get the sympathy votes more often than not. By the same token, Kate Gosselin probably should have been put into the bottom two based on scores alone, but she has the same sort of massive fan following.
In the end, the end result Tuesday night was only shocking in terms of scores -- Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas just couldn't get enough of the fan vote to stick around. It's been too long since Doherty was in the spotlight, and it really showed in the end.
By the same token, this elimination also showed that Pam Anderson is far more vulnerable than any of us thought. Does she have any chance to recover? It's going to take quite a bit of convincing on her part.

I voted for Shannen Doherty, she really improved and I think she did a great job last week. I was surprised and lost interest in the show. I was also suprised Pam was at the bottom
both Shannen and Pam should not have been on the bottom of the list but I think Shannen made her Dad proud and she did a fine job.

I didn't think she deserved to go home, but it worked out since Mark was injured.
I was shocked. I didn't think Buzz would be voted off this week, but I did not expect Shannen to get the boot either. I kind of felt that Kate Gosselin would be voted off.
Then surprise, surprise...Kate wasn't even in the bottom two! Pamela Anderson was!
I suppose that is what makes 'Dancing with the Stars' so interesting!
The winners should be decided by the professional judges, not as a popularity contest in America. This is not supposed to be a popularity contest, it is a dance contest. The season Mario lost and the season Gilles lost makes it clear that there is something very wrong in deciding the winner by how many phone calls come through the wires.
The idea that Gosselin is now placed in a higher dance position than Anderson is ridiculous. Something is amiss, and it is the scoring procedure. Scores should be left to the professional judges, not to fans and friends and relatives.
Shannon really improved over the first week, and Pamela did a pretty nice job both weeks. Should have sent Kate G. home. She has absolutely no rythym. Bottom two should have been Buzz (sorry Buzz) and Kate. This is supposed to be a dancing contest.
I was surprised that Shannon went home, not shocked. Kate does have some fans, less than she thinks, tho. A lot of people voted for her because she was so awful and want to make fun of her. My son told me there is a facebook group that decided she is the worse and keep her on....like Sanjaya.
If Kate some way wins this, it is going to be the end of DWTS. It should be the judges deciding, I think.
