"Dancing with the Stars" has its first elimination of the season on the Sept. 23 episode. Keyshawn Johnson was the first one to leave the ballroom which is surprising because athletes tend to do really well on the show. According to MSN, Keyshawn and his partner, Sharna Burgess, were at the bottom of the totem pole and danced their last dance together.
"Keyshawn said the best part of the show was the experience of dancing and learning what dance was all about. He praised his partner for her choreography skills, and was all smiles as the camera cut out," MSN reported.
This "Dancing with the Stars" elimination was more surprising because many thought that Bill Nye ("The Science Guy") would be the first one out the door based on his less than good debut performance last week. However, people loved Bill's quirkiness and he got tons of views on YouTube after his cha cha to "Weird Science."
Fans of the show (and fans of Bill himself) flocked to their computers to watch his dance over and over again -- and with that amount of attention, Nye was able to string together enough votes to keep him on the show for at least one more week.
Each "Dancing with the Stars" elimination will take place on Monday nights as the show is only on once per week now. Who do you think will be eliminated next week?
