"Dancing With the Stars" professional Cheryl Burke got quite the reaction when her father saw her spread in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue advertised on TV: he didn't like it -- at all.

The dancer, who has partnered in the past with everyone from Drew Lachey to Tom DeLay, shared the story Thursday with People Magazine:

“I just talked to my mom today and she was like, ‘Me and your dad just saw you on TV in your bikini...My dad had to walk out of the family room because he felt really uncomfortable.”

Playing some damage control, Cheryl said that the bikini “was too tiny for him, but it was covered in diamonds, so that has to count for something." She then light-heartedly apologized to her father, who will now have to go back to watching his little girl gyrate with people on a dance floor on a weekly basis.

"Dancing With the Stars" will return on March 22, and the cast will reportedly be announced to the public on March 1. (Pam Anderson has been confirmed for the cast, while John Stamos is still on the bubble.)
