Bruce Jenner has been all over the news lately, first with his impending divorce from Kris Jenner and then with his upcoming Adam’s apple-reducing surgery. Now, according to International Business Times on Jan. 23, he is adamantly trying to secure a spot on season 18 of “Dancing with the Stars.
If he is selected, this will make the third member of the Jenner Kardashian family to appear on the dance competition. Kim Kardashian appeared in season 7 when she danced with pro Mark Ballas. They finished 11th. Kim’s younger brother, Rob Kardashian, competed in season 13 and finished second with pro partner Cheryl Burke.
Sources close to “DWTS” reportedly told US Magazine that Jenner is simply “Dying” to be on the show and the show is “close to locking him in.”
Though Bruce and Kris announced their split in October 2013, their show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” just aired the revealing episode this past Sunday. The couple has been married since 1991 and has 2 kids together: Kendall and Kylie. Bruce is also stepfather to Kris’s kids: Kim, Rob, Kourtney and Khloe.
Rumors swirling about other “Dancing with the Stars” celebrity contestants include Australian singer Cody Simpson and British model Kelly Brook.
“Dancing with the Stars” season 18 will premiere on Monday, March 17 on ABC.
