If any of the stars on "Dancing with the Stars" have strong opinions about Chris Brown performing on the show, they may have been told to be quiet about it. After a number of fans complained (to no avail) that the singer be booted from his scheduled gig on the show next Tuesday due to his "Good Morning America" outburst, there is now a report floating around saying that the show's cast has been told not to answer any questions about the gig.
Despite the criticism, it's easy to see why ABC decided to keep Brown scheduled as their performer -- ratings. This may be the first time in recent memory that "Dancing" has ever drawn headlines simply for having a celebrity sing on their show, and there will be people watching just to see if he decides to smash something else. Ultimately, you have to believe that this will very well end up being a letdown from that standpoint -- he will likely come on, perform a pair of songs, and then leave without really talking to anyone else. (That is, unless somebody lets Tom Bergeron tell a few jokes.)
Thankfully for the stars, they have something far more important to worry about -- preparing for what could very well be their toughest week of rehearsals yet. (Now, they have to learn a full dance in a week versus the initial part of training.)
