‘Dancing With the Stars' cast, crew ‘Unhappy’ with new co-host Erin Andrews

If the chatter can be believed, it seems the cast and crew are not thrilled with Erin Andrews as the new co-host of “Dancing with the Stars.” According to a March 26 report on Life and Style Magazine, insiders claim the producers aren’t too happy with Brooke Burke-Charvet’s replacement.

After just 2 weeks in the job, a show insider reportedly claims that “She’s arrogant, obnoxious and difficult to deal with.”

The insider went on to say, “She was always complaining about her costumes, bossing people around, late for rehearsals, late for makeup. Everything.”

Another source on the show says, “So far, Erin hasn’t made any friends.”

“The cast and crew can’t wait for her to leave after each show.”

Brooke, a previous contestant on the show held the co-host job for many years but often seemed stiff and ill at ease when interviewing the stars and their partners. Andrews’ background as a sports journalist meant she had tons of experience interviewing and interacting with the celebrities on camera. Her on camera performance has been creative, witty and sharp, a marked improvement over what Charvet pulled off. It would be a shame if she’s really that difficult to work with. Are the rumors true?

According to executive producer of DWTS, Conrad Green, the rumors are not true.

“Erin and our entire cast have been getting on brilliantly."

Time will tell.

“Dancing with the Stars” season 18 will air next on Monday, March 31 on ABC.
