Season 18 of “Dancing With the Stars” is a dream for adults who grew up in the 1980s. Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar are both competing for the mirror-ball trophy and doing quite well. While McKellar is okay with being a little more sexy with her performance, Bure is standing firm in her decision to remain modest. According to a March 26 report from ABC News, Candace Cameron Bure plans to remain true to her Christian faith and keep everything she does in line with her beliefs. During her rumba performance this week she was criticized by the judges for lacking sensuality, but she is okay with it because she was comfortable in what she did.
Candace Cameron Bure takes pride in her devout Christian faith. She has been modeling what she believes for her children, and she wants to show the world that you can still do exciting things while staying true to your core beliefs. Bure has been married to retired hockey professional Val Bure for 18 years. Together they have three children. Bure wants to set a good example for her children and she will not be subjected to wearing skimpy clothing while performing. In fact, when her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Mark Ballas suggested he go shirtless for their rumba routine, Bure told him no. She has to respect her husband and dancing with a shirtless man doesn't honor him in any way.
Fans of Candace Cameron Bure are proud of her decision to speak up and defend her beliefs. A huge fan base has surrounded her this season. As long as the fans keep voting her through, Bure will be seen for many weeks to come on “Dancing With the Stars.”
