“Dancing With the Stars” is getting ready to begin a new season and already there are big changes. Last month Harold Wheeler and his band of 28 members were fired after being on the show since Season 1. A small electronic band will replace Wheeler in order to appeal to younger generations. According to a Feb. 22 report from US Magazine, Brooke Burke-Charvet was fired from “Dancing With the Stars” after serving as co-host for eight seasons. Burke-Charvet won the mirror-ball trophy during Season 7 with partner Derek Hough and then went on to co-host alongside Tom Bergeron.
When “Dancing With the Stars” let go of Brooke Burke-Charvet, it was a complete shock. She took to Twitter to announce it, and fans were absolutely dumbfounded. No reason was given and there aren’t any hints as to whether or not someone whether someone will be taking her place or if Bergeron will be hosting by himself.
In just a few weeks the all-new cast of “Dancing With the Stars” will be announced. It will be interesting to see what will happen with the position of co-host. Brooke Burke-Charvet has been a huge part of the show’s evolution and it just won’t be the same without her.
