The newest cast of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” was announced Tuesday morning. The lineup includes country singer Wynonna Judd, former “American Idol” finalist Kellie Pickler, reality TV’s Lisa Vanderpump, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, professional boxer Victor Ortiz, and 1976 Olympic figure skating gold medalist Dorothy Hamill. Rounding out the cast are comedians D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick, “General Hospital’s” Ingo Rademacher, and Disney star Zendaya Coleman.
“DWTS” begins its new season on Monday, March 18 with a two-hour episode on WFTS and WWSB locally in the Tampa Bay area.

The ratings for Sunday’s Academy Awards broadcast on ABC were up over last year. An estimated 40.3 million viewers tuned in. The younger 18-34 demographic was up 20 percent most likely due to Seth MacFarlane being the host.

150 Tampa Bay Rays games will be televised by Sun Sports this season. DeWayne Staats returns for his 16th year behind the microphone for the Rays and 36th overall in baseball broadcasting. Brian Anderson will do the color and Todd Kalas the pre and post-game show and in-game features.
The Rays will also appear on the “FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week” five times in 2013. Those games are vs. the Boston Red Sox on April 13, at 1:05 p.m., Baltimore Orioles on May 18, at 4:05 p.m., Detroit Tigers on June 29, at 7:15 p.m., Chicago White Sox on July 6, at 7:15 p.m. and Los Angeles Dodgers on August 10, at 4:05 p.m..
