On "Dancing with the Stars" on March 24, an elimination was inevitable. However, not many fans thought a double elimination was forthcoming. Well, that was actually the case on "DWTS" as viewers found out mid-show when one contender was eliminated at the half-way point on the ABC reality show.
However, before that happened, the troupe performed a stunning number choreographed by maverick Mandy Moore. Also, everyone gave Val extra attention since it was this ballroom pro favorite's birthday.
While plenty of dancers were deemed safe, like Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke and Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas, one couple was not.
So who was the "Dancing with the Stars" hopeful who faced elimination on week 2? Who was kicked off "DWTS" in the heat of the battle only two weeks into this network talent show in the middle of the show?
That would be Diana Nyad, who danced with Henry Byalikov. Sadly, the couple was told to leave the stage floor after a valiant effort on "Dancing with the Stars" 2014.
Who's next? Stay tuned.
