'Dancing with the Stars' 2014 cast revealed, pro partners announced

The "Dancing with the Stars" 2014 cast was announced on "Good Morning America" on March 4. According to E! News, there are twelve new "stars" set to take the dance floor this season which kicks off on March 24. Many of the names are familiar but some of them you might not know. And here they are:

Billy Dee Williams will be dancing with Emma Slater. Williams is an actor and was in "Star Wars" and "Batman." Actress Candace Cameron Bure best known for her role on "Full House" will be taking the floor with pro Mark Ballas. 17-year-old pop singer Cody Simpson will be joining Witney Carson for this new journey.

The "Dancing with the Stars" 2014 cast includes Olympians Charlie White and Meryl Davis (they won the gold medal in the ice dancing competition in Sochi). White will be dancing with Sharna Burgess and Davis will be led by Maksim Chmerkovskiy (yes, he's back!). Also, para-snowboarder Amy Purdy has agreed to Waltz with Derek Hough.

TV show host Drew Carey will dance with the talented Cheryl Burke while reality TV star NeNe Leakes ("Real Housewives of Atlanta," "I Dream of NeNe") has been paired up with Tony Dovolani. Actress Danica McKellar ("The Wonder Years") will learn to Cha Cha Cha with Val Chmerkovskiy. Swimmer Diana Nyad will try out her dancing legs with new pro Henry Byalikov.

Canadian hockey star Sean Avery will trade in his ice skates and stick to try ballroom with Karina Smirnoff. "Big Time Rush" member James Maslow has been paired with Peta Murgatroyd.
