According to a March 15 report from PureDWTS, the "Dancing with the Stars" 2013 troupe will feature five holdovers from the All Star season as well as three newcomers, and one of the fresh faces will be very familiar to fans of the FOX reality show "So You Think You Can Dance."

Although the plum role of professional teacher went to her longtime pal Lindsay Arnold, who will debut in the "DWTS" ballroom on the arm of boxer Victor Ortiz, blonde bombshell Witney Carson will strut her own stuff as part of the troupe. A native of American Fork, Utah, Carson finished in the top six at the close of "SYTYCD" season nine. She was the first contestant of her season to be named to judge Mary Murphy's famous "hot tamale train," and showed incredible versatility by successfully mastering several styles outside of her ballroom comfort zone.

Carson will be joined on the troupe by fellow newcomers Elena Samodanova and Julz Tocker. Samodanova previously appeared on the Australian version of "Dancing with the Stars," while Tocker also performed on Australian TV as a part of the now-cancelled "Everybody Dance Now 2012."

Returning to the troupe are a quintent of talented performers in Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Henry Byalikov, Sonny Pedersen and Oksana Dymtrenko.

"Dancing with the Stars" 2013 premieres March 18 on ABC with a multi-talented celebrity cast that includes "The Bachelor" 2013 Sean Lowe, comedian Andy Dick, "American Idol" alum Kellie Pickler and nine other hopefuls.
