According to a tweet first referenced on PureDWTS on April 20, "Dancing with the Stars" 2013 pro Tristan MacManus is engaged to be married.
The bride-to-be's sister Cheyenne Tozzi first spilled the beans via Twitter on April 19, writing "Ohhhhh my god !!!my big baby sister just got Engaged wooooo I am so excited #love http://instagram.com/p/YTv-SOhFES/." She included a photo of her sister hugging MacManus and sporting a substantial diamond ring.
The attractive Irish dancer's new fiancee, Australian actress Tahyna Tozzi, confirmed the news to Twitter followers on April 20, writing "Thank you everyone for their kind wishes! @tristanmacmanus and I are very happy and excited for our next chapter. I am one lucky girl xx."
Although MacManus has so far remained mum on the news, Australian TV presenter Renee Bargh offered up congratulations to the couple on April 20, tweeting "Woo hoo! Could not be happier for my favorite couple @TahynaValentina @tristanmacmanus . You both deserve all the happiness in the world xx" in response to Tozzi's big reveal.
MacManus first appeared on the "DWTS" scene when he partnered HLN's Nancy Grace during season 13 to a fifth place finish. He worked with season 16 hopeful and Olympic gold medalist Dorothy Hamill prior to her injury-induced withdrawal on March 26, and most recently teamed up with two couples still alive in the competition, boxer Victor Ortiz and partner Lindsay Arnold and "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe and partner Peta Murgatroyd, for head judge Len Goodman's April 15 side-by-side challenge.
"Dancing with the Stars" 2013 resumes April 22 on ABC with Stevie Wonder week.
