'Dancing with the Stars' 2013 hopeful Wynonna Judd praises her competitors

"Dancing with the Stars" 2013 premiered March 18 on ABC with a brand new cast of celebrity characters, including country music legend Wynonna Judd. Although the popular singer turned in a respectable week one cha cha cha on the arm of reigning pro champion Tony Dovolani, she was quick to shine a light on her fellow competitors' accomplishments, taking to Twitter on March 19 to offer up words of praise and support.

After noting that each "DWTS" celebrity participant "brings something different to the experience as a whole," Judd turned her attention to comedian Andy Dick, who delivered a week one foxtrot with partner Sharna Burgess that judge Bruno Tonioli termed "comedic." She called Dick "kind and eager" and praised him for showing up and doing his best despite nerves.

She went on to call boxer Victor Ortiz, who teamed up with "DWTS" newcomer and "SYTYCD" alum Lindsay Arnold to dance a premiere night foxtrot, "a love." Judd shared a similar sense of affection for "American Idol" alum Kellie Pickler. She termed the pretty blonde country singer "a doll" and thought she "rocked" her debut cha cha cha with pro partner Derek Hough.

But it wasn't all about Judd encouraging others, as she also found herself the recipient of online support. Following the broadcast, the singer's half-sister, actress Ashley Judd, praised Judd's ballroom effort with a tweet that read "So cool that 'Wynonna' is trending worldwide...An impact was made. Hope you're all voting, ladies and germs! #VoteWynonna #dwts."

"Dancing with the Stars" 2013 resumes March 25 on ABC with a second round of routines from Wynonna Judd, week one leader board topper Zendaya Coleman, and the rest of the season 16 cast.
