ABC announced the 2013 cast of "Dancing with the Stars" on Feb. 26, 2013. The new "DWTS" cast was revealed a few hours ago on "Good Morning America." Eleven new stars will hit the dance floor this season. "Dancing with the Stars" season 16 begins on March 11, 2013.
Two country singers, two Olympians, two comedians, a Disney girl, a soap star, a reality show star, a boxer and a football player are among the participants dancing to win the mirror ball trophy this season. Below is a complete list of the 11 stars competing on "DWTS" season 16.
Wynonna Judd is a country music singer.
D.L. Hughley is a comedian.
Jacoby Jones is a football player for the Baltimore Ravens.
Lisa Vanderpump is a reality TV star from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Andy Dick is an actor and comedian.
Victor Ortiz is a professional boxer.
Zendaya Coleman is a Disney actress and singer on "Shake it Up."
Aly Raisman is an Olympic gymnast.
Ingo Rademacher is a soap star from "General Hospital."
Dorothy Hamill is an Olympic ice skating champion.
Kellie Pickler is a country singer that got her start by auditioning for "American Idol" in season five.
Andy Dick was a risky choice by ABC for a live show. Wynonna Judd finally agreed to do "DWTS" after 6 years of turning ABC down. When asked why she said yes this year, her reply was, "I'm trying to get back to my original weight of eight pounds and six ounces."
