ABC kicked off "Dancing with the Stars" two night finale event on May 21, 2012. Each of the three celebrity cast members and their partners danced two dances, one chosen by the DWTS judges and the highly anticipated freestyle round. Tonight was the final opportunity for viewers to cast votes for their favorite Dancing with the Stars contestant before the winner is announced on Tuesday. Based on tonight's performance, who deserves the win?
Katherine Jenkins has had ups and downs during her DWTS journey. Missteps and injuries have walked hand and hand with perfect scoring. Tonight the Welsh crooner could do no wrong as she and partner Mark Ballas earned a perfect score for both her "Dancing with the Stars" finale performances. Her Paso Doble was like watching artistry in motion, Carrie Ann Inaba thought it was like watching a prima ballerina perform. But, where Jenkins excelled was during her freestyle dance as Jive, Lindi Hop, Quick Step and Tap dances were incorporated into the routine proving her versatility as a dancer.

Donald Driver has struggled each week trying to prove to DWTS head judge, Len Goodman that he has what it takes to be a ballroom dancer. Driver's first "Dancing with the Stars" finale performance of an Argentine Tango made the mark with Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba each giving the score Driver desired, a 10. Len Goodman found the dance a tad too careful for the DWTS finals and only scored Driver a 9. However, Driver received his hearts desire of a 10 from Len with an action packed, Country themed, freestyle routine that blew Goodman away. "Chances win dances. That was an enormous job," Goodman told Driver before awarding him the 10.

William Levy and pro partner Cheryl Burke started off on the right foot with their first DWTS season finale performance of a sharp and sophisticated Cha Cha that earned the two a perfect score of 30 from the judges. However, Burke chose to showcase Levy's Latin heritage by choreographing a Salsa/Tango routine for the freestyle round and this rubbed Len Goodman the wrong way as he thought it was too predictable for the "Dancing with the Stars" season finale and only gave the two a 9. Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli disagreed giving Levy a 10 for a "sinful and devilish" dance that was exactly what freestyle was all about, "breaking new ground".
