On Monday, Nancy and her professional dance partner, Tristan MacManus, performed two dances – one that was loved by even tough-as-nails judge Len Goodman and one that had audiences flashing back to week one. If she had just had to perform a routine dance, she may have snuck by and survived, but her Instant Dance, which features duos having to adapt their choreography to music given to them during the living show, was a disaster. It was reminiscent of some of this season’s worst dances, and it made it very clear it was time for her to go home; even Len said the clock had struck midnight on her dancing fairytale. But we can’t deny that Nancy did a surprisingly great job this season, had a great run on the dance floor and was improving – but she just isn’t Mirror Ball trophy material.
With Nancy gone, we finally have season 13’s final four. Rob Kardashian, J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake and Hope Solo will perform next week for a spot in the finale, which will air in two weeks. Who do you think will be cut just before finals? A big part of me wants to think Rob Kardashian isn’t making the cut, but I highly doubt the Kardashians and all of their Twitter followers would ever let that happen; plus, he has actually turned out to be a fantastic dancer with a lot of personality. If I had to choose who will go home next Tuesday, I’d choose Hope Solo, as I just don’t think her personality is winning over viewers.
