Fashion expert Carson Kressley, best known for his role on “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” season 13 on Tuesday’s results show after a Jive that wasn’t quite what the judges were looking for.

There was a lot of booing in the ballroom after the announcement, but are we truly surprised? It was nowhere near the shocker that was Chynna Phillips’ elimination last week; in fact, it was probably the least shocking elimination since week one, when we said goodbye to Metta World Peace. I loved Carson on this season. He was one of my favorite celebrities the show has ever featured, and I will definitely miss his upbeat performances. But we can’t deny he just wasn’t improving. On Monday, his Jive was as full of energy and as entertaining as any Carson performance – no denying he always gives it 100 percent – but it wasn’t what the judges were looking for. They weren’t as tough on Carson as they had been on other celebrities, but they did say they weren’t sure he’d survive. I guess they were right – for once.
