‘Dancing’ star puts pen to paper

ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will be back this spring for its 18th impressive season.

The popular dance competition which pairs ‘stars’ with professional dancers has been a continuous hit for the network. And fans love every minute of it.

Not only do viewers watch for the ‘stars,’ they watch for the incredible professional dancers including Louis Van Amstel, Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, and Derek Hough.

Speaking of Season 17 champion – Derek Hough – Wetpaint.com reports that the dancer has penned his autobiography titled ‘Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion.’

Not much is known about the book but it will be released in late May, says a ‘Dancing with the Stars’ source (via Wetpaint).

‘Dancing with the Stars’ will return in March. At this time, some ‘star’ names being tossed around are Tori Spelling and Renee Zellweger.

The official ‘DWTS’ cast list has yet to be announced at this time.

‘Dancing with Stars’ airs on Detroit’s local ABC affiliate WXYZ Channel 7.
