If you like time travel, you’ll love the blast back to the days of disco as you enjoy the new riveting musical Dancing Queen at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The show opens with ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” and “stays alive” from start to finish with ABBA hits “Money, Money, Money”, “Waterloo”, and others.
You will rock out to disco hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s like “Staying Alive” and “Night Fever” by the Bee Gees, with additional songs by the Village People, Sister Sledge Kool and the Gang, Whitney Houston, and a finale by Gloria Estefan. Next, you will find yourself singing along with this talented and engaging group of 20 singers and dancers. There are four feature singers and a new singer, Avis, is trying for her big break on the Strip.
The show flows effortlessly and the energy permeates the auditorium, resulting in a great time for all. David King, British producer and composer, is behind this production and manages hit shows around the world. Dancing Queen was moved to Planet Hollywood and it’s a fantastic new show – not like an old production at a different location that received poor reviews you may have heard about.
One of the most unusual things for this performance is that these talented singer and dancers decided to allow the audience to use their cameras – you not only get to enjoy a fantastic show, you will have pictures and videos of your memories as well. Shows are nightly Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday is black.
