The Cincinnati Arts Association will be hosting a dance competition and fundraiser called Dancing for the Stars, this is the 7th year of the event. This event will be held at Music Hall Ballroom on April 13, 2013 to benefit the Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Awards. The Overture Awards is a locally run high school art scholarship competition.
Dancing for the Stars is based on ABC’s reality television show Dancing with the Stars that has celebrities team up with professionals in a dance competition. The Cincinnati version will have 8 dance pairs consisting of a local celebrity with one of the area’s finest dancers. Each pair will have 90 second to impress the judges with their style, movement and skill.

· Open dancing before and after the competition

Tickets to the event are $100 for individuals which includes the pre-reception and two drink tickets. Corporate Tables $1,000 for 10 tickets and a half page advertisement. Celebrity Circle $1,500 which includes 10 tickets and premium first row viewing of competition.

Each year this event enables the Overture Awards to distribute six $3,000 scholarships, and eighteen $500 scholarships to local high students. This is a great event it will be highly entertaining and raise money for a great cause.
